NFL Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay Picks: Vikings vs. Eagles (Week 2)

We have a rematch from Week 2 of last year, as the Vikings and Eagles will meet again in primetime. This was an easy win for Philadelphia as they cruised to a 24-7 victory. That was on the road, so will they have even better success in Philly?

Let’s look at a same game parlay for tonight’s matchup

Under 49.5  Total Points (-110)

The Eagles looked like they were going to smash the Pats all over Foxboro with an early 17-0 lead, but New England’s defense was able to hold them off and keep the game close. The Vikings defense struggled last week, and they gave up some important plays in the loss to Tampa Bay. Cousins has performed well at Lincoln Financial Field with 14 touchdowns and six interceptions. Most importantly, none of the games he’s played with Minnesota has gone over 45 points. I’m going with the under this game.

Jalen Hurts OVER 249.5 Passing Yards (-120)

The Vikings were able to contain Baker Mayfield last week in terms of yardage, but he still was allowed to get two touchdown passes. The Vikings had one of the worst passing defenses last season, with the second-most passing yards per game and the third-most passing touchdowns. Although the Eagles had a large lead against Minnesota in the second half of last year’s matchup, they still pushed the ball through the air and like to do that with larger leads. Hurts eclipsed this prop by more than 80 yards last year.

Jordan Addison OVER 44.5 Receiving Yards (+115)

Addison went clear over his receiving prop from last week. With Justin Jefferson on the other side going against a team’s best corner and often double-covered, this will give Addison great matchup opportunities. He showed last week and throughout his college career that he has excellent route-running abilities and quick bursts to create separation. He could see a lot of targets if he gets one-on-one matchups.
