Friday’s Best MLB Betting System Plays

Here are our top plays of the day from popular MLB betting systems at BettingPros.

MLB Betting System

  • Home dogs off loss, non division: +28.07 units over the last three months

On 150 wagers, this system has cashed in 32.47 units of profit despite having a 48% win percentage. The ROI on 150 bats has reached 21.6%.

This system is also easy to understand. All you’re looking for is a home underdog coming off a loss against a non-divisional opponent.

This system has hit almost 50% of the time, but each bet is actually an underdog bet with +101 odds or higher.

Even the worst teams in baseball win sometimes.

The Chicago White Sox fit the script tonight. They’re facing the Seattle Mariners at home and are currently +135 on the moneyline. While the White Sox stink, starter Drew Thorpe doesn’t.

Thorpe has held his last 90 batters to a .133 ISO and wOBA of .212. Meanwhile, the Mariners’ projected lineup has hit a .115 ISO with nearly 27% of strikeouts. Thorpe will have to match George Kirby, but that doesn’t seem so unrealistic. Consider the White Sox at +135 odds.

  • Chicago White Sox (+135)

  • Home team money line +125 or better: +15.67 units over the last three months

Here’s another highly profitable moneyline system. This system looks at any moneyline priced at +125 or higher with the team at home. It’s added 12.17 units of profit and has earned bettors a 5.8% ROI on 211 batters this season.

The White Sox also fit this system. But so do the Tigers.

The Detroit Tigers are +145 odds against the Minnesota Twins. They just earned a shutout against the Guardians yesterday and at least have some momentum heading into tonight’s game. While the Tigers should absolutely be underdogs in this game with Keider Montero pitching, the +145 price might still be a bit too high for a team coming off a win and playing on their home field.

If you back the White Sox and Tigers using the same unit tonight, and at least one wins at home, you’d profit.

  • Detroit Tigers (+145)

  • MLB PHI Unders – Totals: +9.14 units over the last six months

The final system we’ll talk about is the MLB PHI Unders-Totals system. This system tracks every Phillies game this season. If you backed the Under in all 100 Philadelphia games this season, you’d be up 9.14 units with a 9.1% ROI.

The Phillies will throw Cristopher Sanchez tonight. He’s been electric for Philadelphia, holding his last 99 batters to a .106 ISO and wOBA of .277 with 53.3% of grounders and 17.3% of fly balls allowed. He’ll likely mow down this inconsistent Cleveland lineup tonight to keep the under intact.

Meanwhile, Ben Lively will pitch for the Guardians. He’s got an ERA of just 3.57. While he’s been a bit weak against righties, the Phillies still have a majority of their lineup struggling to hit righties consistently over the last month. The Under makes sense in this game.

  • Under 8 (-108)
