Chiefs vs Ravens SGP Picks: Chiefs Alternate Spread +14.5

The Chiefs going into Baltimore and covering as 4-point favorites or even pulling an upset in the Chiefs vs Ravens picks would surprise nobody. Mahomes is 13-3 SU in his playoff career and this is the six-straight time the Chiefs have made the conference title game.

But make no mistake about it, the Ravens are expected to win this game. They were 13-4 and already have double-digit wins over fellow playoff teams this season in the Texans, Browns, Lions, 49ers and Texans again.

In the Chiefs’ six losses they’ve lost by 1, 15, 4, 8, 3 and 6 points. That lone big defeat was in Denver when Mahomes had the flu.

Chiefs vs Ravens SGP Picks: Rashee Rice 40+ Receiving Yards

Rashee Rice has been Kansas City’s most consistent receiver this season. While he was limited to just 4 catches on 4 targets for 47 yards last week, he had finished with over 50 yards receiving in each of his previous seven games.

But that would actually be underselling him in those games as he went over 100 yards three times during that stretch. Rice also averaged 92.57 yards in those seven games and only finished below 60 yards once.

Which all lines up for us to take his alternate receiving yards props for this SGP of 40+ yards, something he’s done in 12 of his past 16 games. Certainly you could up that number if you wanted longer odds.

Chiefs vs Ravens SGP Picks: Lamar Jackson 40+ Rushing Yards

Fresh off of a 100-yard rushing performance last week, Lamar Jackson’s regular rushing prop is set at 65.5 yards. Given his recent showing and the fact the Chiefs just let Josh Allen run for 72 yards last week, Lamar may be good value to go over this normal prop number on its’ own.

But for our SGP purposes, we can make things a little easier on ourselves seeing that he did go under that number in his two previous games.

But he has hit the 40 or more yard mark in seven of his past nine games while falling just shy in the two games he didn’t with 35 and 39 yards. Season-long, he’s hit 40 yards in 11 games.

Chiefs vs Ravens SGP Picks: Zay Flowers 25+ Receiving Yards

Zay Flowers main receiving prop is set at 41.5 yards at DraftKings. That’s a number he fell under last week with 41 yards. And while he blew over that total in his two games prior with 106 and 72 yards, he’s still fallen under that total in 5/10 recent games.

So that’s neither here or there. Lower that total to 25 or more yards though and he’s hit that number in 7/8 recent games as well as 14 total times this season.

Flowers is Baltimore’s top receiver and the Chiefs have given up 25 or more yards to an opponent’s top receiver in every game this season. Tally up all of the receivers who have had 25 or more yards versus the Chiefs this year and the number is 40. Granted, 25 yards is not a high total, so it’s not to say the Chiefs’ pass defense has been poor. Just that multiple receivers every week usually total 25+ yards versus them and there’s no reason Flowers can’t do the same for our SGP picks.
